Samsung Galaxy S9: Is it Revolutionary?

So today we are going to be taking a look at another smartphone coming to the market soon. The Samsung Galaxy S9 seems and looks pretty similar to the S8. But once we take a closer look maybe you'll change your mind.

The S9 still has the volume rocker, power button, and the Bixby button in the same exact spots. I'm personally surprised that they kept the Bixby button due to all of the people complaining about it previously. This smartphone's screen is 5.8 inches which is a pretty good size for a smartphone. It also has Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and the back of the phone. Speaking of the back of the phone, the Galaxy S9 includes a 12 Megapixel camera which can record up to 4k 60 FPS. It also has the fingerprint sensor mounted on the back but instead of being next to the camera, the sensor is below the camera. I'm glad they moved this here due to the fact that you would sometimes accidentally place your finger on the camera and get smudges all over it. Switching to the front really quick, is an 8 Megapixel camera to capture all of your selfies.

This picture here contains the S9+ as well, but I am not going to be touching base with that phone at all.

Now let's get into the good stuff. The Processor for the phone is pretty powerful. It is an octa-core processor sitting at 2.7 GHz. This processor will easily crunch through anything you throw at it. The Graphics in the phone is a Mali-G72 Adreno 630. Once again will crunch through any mobile game you throw at it. The battery inside the phone is a 3000 mAh battery which should get you through your day completely if all you do is text and call. Samsung really needs to get at least some 3800 mAh batteries. I feel like their phones lose battery pretty quickly all the time. The phone also includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Overall, the phone is pretty solid and I'll give it an 8.5/10.
